Gillespick
Angus was succeeded by his son Gillespick who assisted in the restoration of Malcolm Ceanmore in 1057 after Macbeth had been killed. For this service he was, according to the family historian, raised with many others to the dignity of a "Lord Baron" on the 25th April in that year.
